Ben and Bryan meet with Bob Rivers of KZOK

We would like to thank Bob Rivers from KZOK 102.5 radio, Bob is a great friend of us here at Ben's Car Audio. We had the pleasure of integrating a complete alarm system with remote start with his implanted RFiD chip in his hand. Bob can now walk up to his car, touch the vehicle and the car will unlock and start the engine. All with no keys.

Along with the RFiD interface we also did a complete high end audio/video system installation in his Volkswagen Passat.

We started with an Eclipse double din CD/DVD player with built in navigation, added Sirius satellite radio, HD radio and an iPod connection along with a back up camera. For speakers we used Diamond Audio D6 separates in the front and rear and a single Diamond Audio D6 12" subwoofer in a custom built form fitted enclosure. Diamond D6 amplifiers feed the system all the power it needs.

Everything is custom built with no permanent modification to the vehicle. No holes drilled, no wires cut. Check out the photo album of installs pictures that will be up soon.

If you are a Bob Rivers listener call us or stop by, we have some special discounts and deals set up just for you. Also  we are taking pictures of every installation that is referred by Bob to us and putting them up on a special Bob Rivers page on our website.

Thanks to Bob Rivers, Spike, Joe and everyone at the Bob Rivers show, we had a blast when we were in studio with you guys. We look forward to listening to you guys every morning. How about a Ben's Car Audio twisted tune?

Spike and Joe are both having slight issues with their daughters, and just how honest they should be, especially in situations where it could hurt their feelings. Listen to the audio segment on our site about it, then tell us what YOU think: Should we be honest with our kids, or are there situations that necessitate a gentler approach that may involve lying?
It's our JOB to lie to our kids! It's a violent, unfair world out there, and they have the rest of their lives for hurt and disappointment. As parents, the least we can do is protect them from even the tiniest of disappointments!
Honesty is always the best policy! Lie to them now and they'll grow up thinking the world revolves around fairness and THEM. Don't baby them now- cause you'll have a hell of a teenager to deal with, and society has to deal with them as adults.
